A Bit About Me
Paul Schlueter has served as pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chuckery since 2006. He was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry in July 1999 and first served as Associate Pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour, Indiana.
Pastor Schlueter received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and later earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. In addition to his parish ministry, he has also served the wider church as a Circuit Visitor and is currently serving his second term as Vice President of the Ohio District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
Paul is blessed to be married to Julie, and together they have three children—Anna, Will, and Tori.
Two passages of Scripture hold special significance in his ministry. Psalm 46:1 has provided comfort in times of trial: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” And 1 Timothy 1:5 has shaped his pastoral approach: “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
